Lisa Wines Collage GHOST STORIES

A young girl is writing by lamplight. Around her are the objects of her dreams and stories: ghosts walking up a staircase with one touching the shoulder of another young girl looking down at its hand, a rabbit resting on the writing girl's arm, another young girl in a flowing veil, and of course, Carl Gustave Jung, recording it all.

Lisa Wines: "I've been a big fan of Carl Jung since my early 20s and his theories of the individual unconscious mind and the collective unconscious and how they influence us are what allow me to be patient while making art, letting my unconscious choose the images to tell the story."
