The Knit Co launched in 1995 as a woman owned company. Our aim was to create comfortable knit ponchos, beautiful designs that encourage confidence and a relaxed lifestyle.

The Knit Co is dedicated to support the talent of amazing artisans located in villages in Ecuador. Our goal is to connect the people of the world through the sale of beautifully knit and traditional knitwear and improve the economic lives of small producers by promoting fair trade commerce and preserving culture.
