Ficklesticks

Artist Diana Taylor has always made things: dolls and doll clothes, prom dresses, slipcovers, needlepoint, rugs, quilts. Early on she discovered that she preferred her own designs to kits and patterns, and has been inventing her own stitchery, dresses, quilts and stuffed things pretty much all her life. With all that creating, she thought for some time that there surely must be some earth-shaking way to combine fabric with metal to create art. Once she figured out how to get WIRE INSIDE fabric, she realized that she might be onto something. She named these new fabric and wire sticks Ficklesticks Fabric Jewels and think they are probably her biggest contribution to the welfare of mankind.
